But the big downside of this release is that once you've installed it, you will not receive further updates to iTunes. Therefore you will miss out on new features which Apple will introduce down the line.
Thankfully though, you have the choice of returning back to the usual iTunes update channel, if you're willing to sacrifice the App Store completely.
